The Magic Box Revisited

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Take control of Buffy and pick up some Stakes under the balcony in order to defeat the oncoming vampire menace. Make sure everything is dusted before exploring the shop once more. The bookcases below the library hold some bottles of Hell-Fire, two vials of Holy Water and a Medi-Pak are lurking behind the counter, and another bottle of Hell-Fire is sitting on the bookshelf located in the study. When you are ready to continue, go through the door under the library balcony into the training room. Dust any vampires that stand in your way and search by the desk for some Holy Water and a Medi-Pak. There is a Stake Crate in one corner of the room and a Battleaxe in the other. Pick up these helpful items and make your way out the back door. Dust the two vampires outside and seize the Shovel from the area by the wheelie bin. Stomp on the glass flooring and drop down to an injured Giles, who tells Buffy to find Bibeau's Compendium somewhere in the shop. Get a move on!

Climb the ladder in the cell to the backyard and re-enter the shop, destroying anything and everything that gets in the way. Once inside, climb up the ladder to the balcony and search the bookshelf to locate Bibeau's Compendium. Take the book to Giles and learn about the effects of Gorgon Venom. Now that you have a new objective, go back into the shop, kill everything, and go down the stairs into the basement (get there from the study). Defeat the vampires down here and search under the stairs for a Crossbow and a Stake Crate. Grab the Holy Water from the side cabinet and inspect the red curtain. Maim the vampire that will attack and push the curtain aside to find a chest containing a Medi-Pak. Enter the room near the purple drape, beat some more monsters, and smash the chair near the lace curtain to turn it into a Stake. Go into the next room, smash a vampire (and a chair for a Stake), grab some Hell-Fire from the bookcase, and head inside the small room uncovered by Spike during Mission 1 for a Medi-Pak. Open the treasure chest next to the door to find the Gargoyle Claw and go back upstairs.

Dust the oncoming vampires and head to the green potion on the side table opposite the counter. Use the Gargoyle Claw here, and then use a Stake to create a Gorgon Stake for later. Go back to Giles (yes, again) and equip the Gorgon Stake before opening the cell. Fight off the Gargoyles one at a time and only use the Gorgon Stake when they are either drained of health, or knocked down. When both monsters are defeated you will have to act as a bodyguard for poor Giles, so get ready for some action.

In the next room pick up a bottle of Hell-Fire and a Medi-Pak; in the next room open the chest to find another Medi-Pak for your healing benefit. In the next room, block the path of the oncoming vampires and take them out quickly before any of them can hurt Giles. Move into the storeroom and position Buffy on the red rug to wait for her Watcher. As soon as the vampires begin storming the room charge them and dust them quickly. When you are done, wait for Giles to hobble in and another cut scene will start.
