Walkthrough: Buffy, the vampire slayer: Chaos bleeds
Sunnydale Zoo
As Buffy, run to the right and destroy the benches and the worker's barrier to turn them into Stakes before fighting the vampires. When everything is dead and gone, go to the left and break the two benches near the Jungle Caf¿ for four Stakes. Continue left, past the Aquarium and pick up a Shovel. Fight off a couple of monster sluts near the Reptile House and move across the entrance to the large building with a set of steps. Before you go up the steps and into the building, go to the entrance of the African Exhibit, turn right, and move up the upper step to the bush near the hedge. Search behind the hedge for a vial of Holy Water and a bottle of Hell-Fire. Now you are ready to continue.
Inside the building, slay a vampire and search near the trashcan for three Stakes. The door on the left is locked, and the one on the right is sealed off by a magical force field. What is it with this game and force fields? Obtain the Medi-Pak from the door's left and go through the exit door ahead. Defeat the vampires that attack here and start exploring. Break the bench to the right for three Stakes and continue right to battle some more vampires. After the battles, pick up three more Stakes from yet another park bench and check the fence to find that it is locked. Predictably. Go back to the starting intersection and look inside the lion's pen to see a ladder and a maintenance duct that can't be reached. Since the entrance to the lion's pen is also locked, break the construction sign for a Stake and go through the doors leading to the monkey pen. Follow the tunnel, picking up three more Stakes if you can hold them and go through the doors at the other side. Save the civilian as quickly as possible to get a bottle of Hell-Fire from her.
Turn right to be attacked by a Zombie Devil and another vampire; destroy the monsters and protect the girl for the duration of the battle. Examine the area by the two park benches; break the one on the right for three Stakes and jump onto the grassy area above the benches. Jump up one more time to a hidden hedge recess to find a Medi-Pak, Holy Water, Hell-Fire, and a Water Soaker. Go back to the path and continue to the right, taking note of the locked doors. Destroy the construction signs for some more Stakes and go into either one of the cave tunnels on the monkey pen. Break one of three glass windows open using your super-human fists and climb through it. Turn left and jump onto the wooden ledge; hurdle around the rock on the ledge (picking up another Stake from the second platform) and jump across the gap on the third ledge for some Holy Water Ammo, a Medi-Pak, and a Key. Before leaving, check the electrical fence to take sight of a shiny object resting on the ledge attached to it. Come back for this later and make your way to the Reptile House, attacking the creatures of the night as you go.
When you get to the Reptile House, protect another innocent (she is located behind the entrance sign) to score a vial of Holy Water. Destroy the bench to get three Stakes and go to the right of the entrance; search the base of the bush at the far corner to find a Medi-Pak, a bottle of Hell-Fire, and some more Holy Water. Seize the items you need (and can hold) and go into the Reptile House by using the Key on the door left of the double doors. Two Zombie Gorillas attack when you go inside so be ready to savagely beat them Gorillas in the Mist Style. If being attacked by two primates has made you a little angry you can go ahead and break a total of 28 windows here in order to sooth your aggression. If not, however, continue through one of the four glass panels at the display on the right edge, move to the off colored backdrop, and press that Use button of yours. Go into the next room, turn left, and bruise and batter a vampire before picking up the Shovel. There is also a Medi-Pak and two breakable boxes to transform into Stakes (with your foot) around the corner. When you are ready, kick the window on the right open and drop into the next room. Quickly dispose of the Zombie Gorillas in here and go left for a nice, dark dead end. Go back to the path on the right and head toward a building with two trashcans in front of it. Predictably, the door here is locked, so turn left and advance to a courtyard.
Take down a vampire out here and grab the Medi-Pak near the parked SUV. There are four Stakes in this area -- three of which are by the dumpsters and the other is in the form of a crate located in front of the dumpsters. Whoopee. If you need even more Stakes, follow the narrow path to the left of the SUV to find two breakable crates here, as well as another locked door. Now, go back and run past the SUV, to the right through an open fence door, and break the electrical power terminal ahead open. See the lever? Pull it to disable the electric fence inside the monkey pen.
Go to the shutter located behind the SUV and use the switch by the door to open it. Go inside, break a crate for another Stake, and fight off another bloodsucker here. Stomp on the crate for a Stake, turn right, and break another box for another Stake. Climb up the ladder and move to the left once you are at the top of it. Hang on to the fence for dear life as it descends and drop off of it. Turn left, run under the dropping gate, and break another box for a Stake. Check the pile of hay for Relic Piece number one of three. Leave the room and enter the door opposite and to the left for some more vampire boxing fun. Once they have been dusted, press the switch to the left to raise the gate here. Run into the next area to find a Shovel and two Stakes. Deal with another vampire here and return to the gate. Open it, run under it to the warehouse entrance, and then move away so the gate can drop. Press the switch to raise the gate, jump up to grab it, and ride it up. Move to the right onto the concrete area and drop into the other side of the warehouse. Go into the room behind you for two Stake Crates, and Holy Water Ammo, and then enter the door near the ladder.
In this next room, turn right and break the lock off of the gate to allow access to the SUV courtyard without having to do all of that lame-ass hanging off of gates crap. Take out the vampire here and go back to the concrete area to climb down the ladder. There are two Stake Crates down here so break them if you need to and put the bad little vampire to sleep. Climb the next ladder up to the inside of the lion pen. Turn right to get your grubby little hands on two more Stakes, and approach the block of hay on the left; push it toward the barred gates. When the bale is under the gate arch, break open one of four windows and climb through it. Take out any vampires here and press the lever on the wall. Move to the barred gate being held open by the hay and Buffy will automatically crouch down to walk under it.
In this next area, break some more windows and enter the tunnel ahead. Pick up the Medi-Pak and the Tranquilizer Gun on the floor and go into the Jungle Caf¿ area. By the way, the Tranquilizer Gun you just picked up has infinite ammunition and will take out every enemy so use it as much (or as little) as your little heart desires! Go into the tunnel and break the locks off of the three gates here, exiting back onto the pathway. Follow it until you reach the doors to the monkey pen; turn right and head back to the broken windows. Go into the pen, jump onto the three wooden platforms, then across to the raised area where you found the Key to the Reptile House. Fight off the Devil and the vampire that leap out through the windows and grab the electric fence, which should be disabled if you have followed this guide. Move to the right, past the spotlight, and drop onto the platform. Pick up Relic Piece number two of three and leave the inclusion, making your way back to the lion kingdom.
Leave through the African Exhibit to the interior courtyard and head for the Jungle Caf¿ located to the far right from the African Exhibit. Go inside of the Jungle and beat down some more Zombie Gorillas. Now, look ahead to see a gorilla on the roof; he is holding some kind of object and can only be hit with the Tranquilizer Gun. Shoot the bastard before he starts pelting flaming pieces of the roof (or is it poo?) at you and he will fall off of the roof. Search his unconscious carcass to snag the last Relic Piece! Pick up a Medi-Pak and two Stakes here (both stem from chairs) and go to the masked statue near the entrance. Beat up a couple of vampires and drop each of the Relic Pieces onto the statue and pick up the floating Orb to turn invisible. Your time as a phantom is limited, so act quickly and go through the double doors to the African Exhibit, past the vampire and into the double doors to step through the force field. Once through, disintegrate the vampire who created the stupid thing and grab the Shield of Rei from the center of the exhibit; leave here and go to the Aquarium.
When you fight your way inside of the Aquarium, follow the path and stop at the end as it curves to the left to take on a Bringer. This annoying bastard will cast a spell that teleports you all the way back to the front doors of the Aquarium. Go back to him a second time, but use that nifty Shield of Rei to block his spell. The Tranquilizer Gun has no effect on this jerk, so use your Water Soaker to saut¿ his ass. After he is out of the way head down the steps and enter the door leading to an unpleasant surprise.
Boss Fight: Ripper
Ever wonder what Giles would have been like had he shrugged off his destiny as a Watcher and let the occult fully take him? Wonder no more, as here is you answer. Just like all of the bosses before him (with the exception of Vampire Tara), Ripper begins the battle as an invulnerable killing machine. The best way to defeat Ripper is to memorize his attack pattern and strike when he can be hit, which goes something like this: first, he will throw a fireball at Buffy, dodge this when you see it coming; for his next trick, Ripper calls forth a Zombie Gorilla and tries to pelt you with more fireballs. For trick number three, Ripper will teleport and start flying; stay away him and continue to dodge his fireballs. The fourth trick is by far the most impressive b/c he can actually be hit during this time: Ripper will split into four identical entities -- the real Ripper will always be in the middle of this British Punk Quartet, so wait for him to drop his shields or take off running, then follow him (or cut him off) and start wailing on him. He will begin his attack pattern after losing about a seventh of his energy, the only difference being that he will start running faster and faster as the battle goes on. When he runs he will turn 90 degrees and start running again (sometimes he will run to the outer arena); when he turns, move in front of him to get in some hits. Repeat this pattern about seven or eight times and claim Cassandra's Torso as your own.
