Season 7 Episode 16 - Death Knell

Sam and Jacob move to the new Alpha Site with the resident Jaffa and Tok'ra and work on Teltak's unit to neutralize the super-powered Anubis soldiers when Goa'uld ships arrive and attack, setting off the self-destruct. Daniel, Jack, and Teal'c take a team to search for survivors and find the armor of one of Anubis' drones. They finally locate survivors, including a badly wounded Jacob (with a prototype weapon), but Carter is missing along with the power unit she had.

Everyone wonders how Anubis found the site and interrogation suggests that the mix of Jaffa, Tok'ra, and human present created a tense situation. The Jaffa believe the Tok'ra betrayed them and are refusing to help them, while the Tok'ra are less then forthcoming about their undercover operations, even with Jacob/Sel'mac (whom they distrust because of his human host). When the Jaffa/Tok'ra alliance starts to fall apart, Hammond needs Jacob to keep things together.

Teal'c and Jack look for Sam, determining that a drone followed her to recover the prototype. A badly wounded Sam is on the run while SGC sends a missile drone through to take out the Anubis warrior. It shoots down the drone plane but Sam gets to it and uses the missile herself to try and take out her pursuer. That only provides a temporary respite but Teal'c and Jack arrive and draw him off long enough for Jack to put the power source in the weapon and take it out once and for all.

The Tok'ra finally decide to withdraw from the alliance rather then reveal their covert operations and the Jaffa leave rather then be ordered by the humans. Jacob remains with the Tok'ra, leaving his daughter so he can continue working from within.
