Season 1 Episode 15 - Warrior Princess

Xena gets ask by a King to come to his palace, when she get there everyone starts treating her really, really, nice. Although a bit confused Xena continues to go inside the castle and look for the King. But before she manages to someone tries to kill her, but Xena manages to fight him off. When Xena finally meets the king she find out that his daughter is in danger and has had a lot of assassination attempts on her life. The King finally manages to persuade Xena to help and allows her to meet his daughter Princess Diana. When Xena meets her all becomes clear as to way people have been so nice to her, they look identical.

Xena decides the best way to deal with this is to hide the princess somewhere outside the castle and as Diana has only been outside the castle twice not many people will recognise her. She tells her to go and find Gabrielle, so Xena the warrior princess and Diana the royal princess swap places, the only people who know this are themselves and the King. Being treated like Diana tells Xena a lot about Diana's life, all the assassination attempts are made because Diana is to be married to a man she doesn't know and marrying this man will put a stop to slave trading in the kingdom. The man Diana really does love is her future husbands bother, but neither he nor Diana will tell each other. On the other hand Diana is having to rough it outside the castle by sleeping on the ground and not having a big banquet every day. When the situation is over Xena and Diana swap back and Diana is still to be married. But Xena knows that they still haven't caught the real man behind all this so, with out any on else knowing, Xena and Diana swap again for the wedding. This time the real man is caught and because Diana's future husband does not to marry anyone like Xena, who he thinks is Diana, Diana and the man she loves confess their real feelings and marry each other instead.
