Season 3 Episode 04 - The Deliverer

Xena takes Gabrielle to Britannia to join up with Boadicea and defeat Caesar and to take back some people who were captured. While on the boat travelling to Britannia Gabrielle gets to know Khrafstar, one of the captured people. She learns all about his one God and is fascinated, when Xena gets to Britannia Gabrielle and Khrafstar are captured by Caesar. Xena manages to free them just before their legs are broken and while Xena and Boadicea start to think about how to beat Caesar, Gabrielle and Khrafstar go back to his temple so Gabrielle can learn more about his God. When she gets there she finds out that his God, Dahak, is evil and Gabrielle is tricked into killing one of the woman there in order to save Khrafstar's life. When she realises she has been tricked a massive fire forms around her and she is placed, by the fire, on an alter. By now Xena has seen that something is wrong from the field where she was fighting she goes to the temple and Khrafstar changes into a demon. Xena defeats him and quickly gets Gabrielle off of the alter. While Gabrielle is feeling awful about her first kill, Xena is wondering why she was on the alter.
