Season 4 Episode 13 - Paradise Found

Xena and Gabrielle find a cave, they take shelter in it after a vicious fight in which Xena got badly cut. While there Gabrielle finds a small hole, which she goes through, Xena quickly follows. They arrive at the other side and find they are in a beautiful place with flowers and friendly animals, also Xena's wound instantly heals. Trying to find out where they are Xena and Gabrielle talk to Garr, the caretaker. Garr appears to be crazy and all they can get out of him are the directions to finding Aiden. After a short walk Xena and Gabrielle find Aiden who lives in a spectacular building, Gabrielle instantly likes him as he is in to mediations and is very peaceful. Aiden shows Gabrielle a few of his meditations and invites them to stay for a while, they agree. While Gabrielle is doing some more meditations with Aiden she finds out that the magical place they are in brings out the core of your soul. Gabrielle starts to be at complete peace while Xena seems to be losing it completely. The next day while Gabrielle is with Aiden again Xena talks to Garr and finds out that Aiden just wants Gabrielle to steal away her goodness, because he lives of off peoples caring and kindness and turns the person so calm that they become a statue. Then Xena loses it completely because if she has any goodness in her at all Aiden can use it against her. Xena and Aiden have a fight while Gabrielle is about to have the goodness sucked out of her. Xena wins and nearly kills Garr but Gabrielle stops her and Xena returns back to normal. They leave the "Paradise" with Garr who becomes sane as soon as he leaves, as it was the Paradise that was keeping him mad.
