Season 5 Episode 11 - Punch Lines

Gabrielle is having trouble sleeping and so decides to start writing again. Things don't go very well though and she can't manage to write down anything she likes. Then Aphrodite starts to help and gets Gabrielle to tell her a story. Gabrielle tells her about her day which went a bit like this: It started of just another normal day Xena, Gabrielle and Joxer were just traveling when Xena starts to get annoyed at Gabrielle for calling her cranky. Then Joxer and Xena go to an inn and have a meal while Gabrielle washes Xena's horse. Unfortunately Gabrielle washes Argo in the river of the God Lachrymose, he gets very annoyed and so turns Argo into a tiny horse rather then the large horse she is. Gabrielle manages to make a deal with Lachrymose and if she can make him laugh then he will turn Argo back to normal. Gabrielle starts telling him stories about the things Xena, Gabrielle and Joxer did in the past but nothing would make him laugh. After a lot of stories Lachrymose decides to turn Gabrielle into a little midget because he was getting bored. Gabrielle finds Joxer and tells him want has happened and Joxer tricks Lachrymose in to turning Gabrielle back to normal. The Gabrielle goes to tell Xena about Argo, she is furious and one thing leads to another and Xena starts a food fight. After a while Lachrymose turns up and is hit by a pie in his face. He starts to laugh and because of this he turns Argo back to normal. After telling Aphrodite the story Gabrielle decides that all she has to do to start writing again is to get in touch with her inner child. That's just want she does and starts writing her great Xena Scrolls again.
