Season 5 Episode 15 - Married with Fishsticks

Gabrielle is having trouble with Eve and so Xena, Joxer and Gabrielle go in to town to get Eve some food. When they get there they see Aphrodite and Discord fighting. Xena and Gabrielle try and stop them because they are destroying a harbor. Gabrielle gets pushed into the sea and when she wakes you she sees a man named Hagar (Who looks identical to Joxer). She realizes she is still in water and looks down at her legs, which have turned into fins. Hagar explains that she has lost her memory and that her name is Crustacea, Gabrielle can't remember anything about her real life and so believes him. Hagar then tells her that she is a mermaid and that he is her husband and they have three children.

Gabrielle meets the children who are a lot of trouble, while Hagar meets his two friends Sturgina and Crabelle they look a lot like Discord and Aphrodite. You soon find out that Hagar is a candidate to be on the council and his wife has just left him. Gabrielle looks a lot like his wife Crustacea and so he pretends that she is because the council prefers family members to single divorced fathers. Sturgina and Crabelle give Gabrielle a drink every morning this drink stops her from getting her memory back. After a while Gabrielle changes Hagar and he starts to respect her a lot. She also teaches their children manners and they become much nicer. In the end Hagar and Gabrielle fall in love and decide to "re-new" there wedding vowels. But Sturgina and Crabelle hate Crustacea/Gabrielle because they want to marry Hagar so they stop giving her the drink and as they are getting married Gabrielle gets her memory back. She decides to leave Hagar but still likes him and after saying goodbye to him and the kids she wakes up. Seeing Joxer over her she kisses him mistaking him for Hagar and then walks off realizes that it was just a dream.
