Season 6 Episode 17 - The Last of the Centaurs
Ephiny comes back as a ghost, she can only appear to Gabrielle because they are both Amazons, and tells her that her son Xenan is in danger. Xena and Gabrielle immediately agree to go and help Xenan, who is a centaur. Xena and Gabrielle soon find out that Lord Belach is the one trying to kill Xenan so Xena and Gabrielle pay him a visit. When they find him Xena finds out that Lord Belach is the son of Borias, Xena's former lover. He wants to kill the centaurs because they have captured his daughter Nicha and he wants her back. Xena and Gabrielle go and find Xenan and tell him that Ephiny sent them after explaining who they are Xena and Gabrielle manage to get Xenan to trust them.
He tells hem that they never captured Belach's daughter she ran away because she is in love with Xenan and carries his child. Xena goes back to Belach and tells in the situation but Belach hates Xena for taking away his father when he was a child and continues his hunt to wipe out Xenan, by now he has already killed the rest of the centaur race. Then back in the centaur forest Nicha goes into labour and Gabrielle and Ephiny have to deliver the baby, they manage to find a barn to deliver it in. Xenan runs off to try and fight Belach men, who are now attacking. While fighting Xenan gets captured, but fortunately Xena comes back just in time to fight Belach. After delivering the baby, which turns out to be a centaur, Gabrielle goes to help Xena fight and tells Xena that she has to kill Belach even if his is Borias's child. Then Nicha comes out of the barn with her baby and Xenan and tells her father to stop attacking. Xena reminds him of his father and how after he left Xena he changed his ways and became a good man, a man who helped the centaurs. Lord Belach realises his mistakes and stops the attack and him, his daughter and Xenan agree to get along as a family. Then Ephiny has to leave but before she does she goes in Gabrielle's body and says an emotional goodbye to her son and grandson who is called Borias.
