Season 6 Episode 19 - Many Happy Returns

Gabrielle and Xena are walking through the forest and Gabrielle asks Xena what she has got her for her birthday tomorrow after not giving any clues away Xena tells her she will find out tomorrow after the traditional birthday prank. After much protesting Xena agrees not to do any pranks but a few minutes later Gabrielle looks through a telescope which has black all around the eye piece which Xena put on it. When Gabrielle takes it away from her eye she has a think black mark encircling her eye. Then Xena and Gabrielle hear a women cry so they go to help, they find a women being sacrificed to the Gods. Xena and Gabrielle stop the sacrificing but while doing so the girl gets throw over a cliff.

Xena takes out a helmet from a bag and puts it on her head then she jumps over the cliff and grabs the girl then fly's back to the top of the cliff. She lands and the girl thinks that she is a god, Xena explains that it is just the Helmet of Hermes and it makes her fly. Then the girl who is called Genia gets annoyed for Xena stopping her sacrifice! Xena and Gabrielle decide to take her to Aphrodite to show her what sort of person she would be killing herself for. Meanwhile a warlord has found out that Xena has the Helmet of Hermes and tells his son to go and get it for him. That night Xena puts a snake in Gabrielle's bed and so Gabrielle declares war on Xena. The next day after having a bath Xena tries to find her clothes, she finds them stuck under a rock and when she pulls them out a bucket of fish guts falls on her head, courtesy of Gabrielle. That day they reach Aphrodite's temple and Aphrodite tells Gabrielle that her present from Xena is a ticket to see a great Greek poet. Then Genia meets Aphrodite she doesn't believe she is a god but later on Aphrodite proves it at a pub. While Gabrielle is recovering for missing the poets performance some warlords attack. Aphrodite zaps herself a Genia to a safe place while Xena and Gabrielle fight the warlords. But the Warlords manage to get the Helmet and run off with it. Gabrielle and Xena met up with Aphrodite and Genia and are shocked by how much Genia has changed, she is now the Goddess of Love's new apprentice instead of being a virgin sacrifice. While Xena and Gabrielle go to get the helmet back Aphrodite makes Genia fall in love with a man, one of the Warlords! To show her the power of love. Xena and Gabrielle find out and when they get to the warlords hideout they manage to take the spell off Genia, but more trouble awaits because Genia gets kidnapped by then men who were trying to sacrifice her earlier, they want to complete the sacrifice. They take Genia to their temple and Xena and Gabrielle burst in to fight them, Xena and Gabrielle win and Genia decides to dedicate her life to no more Gods but instead to sick people. She is going to build a hospice in the temple and treat the injured and sick. Xena and Gabrielle congratulate her on her new life and leave. Later that day Xena gives Gabrielle a present, it is a poem written by the poet they missed. Gabrielle realises that was her plan all along. Gabrielle reads it (You can hear it as one of the sounds below) and loves it. Then Xena and Gabrielle go for a ride on the helmet of Hermes.
